The President of Turkmenistan signed a decree on call-up for military service

Turkmenistan's President Serdar Berdimuhamedov has signed a decree on the dismissal of conscripted servicemen and the next call-up of citizens for military service. The document numbered 573 was signed on September 17 in Ashgabat. Arzuw.news reports with reference to Turkmenistan: Golden Age.

According to the decree, in the period from October to December 2025, servicemen from the Armed Forces, other troops and military bodies of Turkmenistan, who have served the terms established by law, will be dismissed to the reserve.

At the same time, male citizens of Turkmenistan aged 18 to 27 who are not eligible for exemption or deferment from conscription will be called up for military service in the same months.

President Berdimuhamedov, who is the Supreme Commander-in-Chief of the country's Armed Forces, also signed an order to the heads of the security agencies. The Minister of Defense, the Minister of Internal Affairs, the Minister of National Security, the Head of the State Border Service, the Head of the Presidential Security Service, and the Chairman of the State Migration Service were ordered to conduct a ceremonial dismissal of servicemen.

Excellence in combat and social and humanitarian training will be rewarded in accordance with discharge plans. The decree is based on the Constitution of Turkmenistan and the Law "On Military Duty and Military Service" and comes into force upon publication.
