Referring to the topic of cooperation with the UN, President Berdymukhamedov yesterday, during a video conference with Minister Meredov, noted the importance for Turkmenistan of partnership with this international organization and its leading structures. In this regard, the Head of State stressed the special importance of the above mentioned Framework Program, aimed at building a multifaceted fruitful dialogue with the UN, which meets the interests of well-being and sustainable development in the regional and global dimensions.
The speakers noted that Turkmenistan's strategic partnership with the UN and its specialized agencies is an important area of the state's peace-loving foreign policy.
At the end of the meeting, the Framework Program for Cooperation in the Field of Sustainable Development between the Government of Turkmenistan and the United Nations was signed. 2021-2025 years."
