Ambassador of the Hellenic Republic accredited in Turkmenistan

Newly appointed Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of Greece to Turkmenistan Ekaterini Xagorari presented her credentials to the Chairman of the Mejlis of the country D. Gulmanova on December 3, 2024. This is reported by the online edition AsmanNews. 

On behalf of the President of Turkmenistan Serdar Berdimuhamedov, D. Gulmanova accepted the credentials and congratulated the Ambassador on her appointment to the important post, wishing her success in carrying out her diplomatic mission. The Chairperson of the Mejlis of Turkmenistan familiarized Ekaterini Xagorari with the priority directions of the country's domestic and foreign policy, spoke about the key transformations of the new historical era.

During the meeting, the sides exchanged views on topical issues of relations between Greece and Turkmenistan in political, economic, cultural and humanitarian spheres.
