Turkmen Foreign Minister Rashid Meredov met today with Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of Japan Hiryoyuki Yamamoto, who is completing his diplomatic mission in Turkmenistan. This is reported by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Turkmenistan.
The Minister expressed gratitude to the Ambassador for his personal contribution to the development of Turkmen-Japanese cooperation.
During the meeting, the sides discussed the expansion of cooperation in political and diplomatic, trade and economic, investment, cultural and humanitarian spheres.
The fruitful cooperation of the states within the framework of the activities of international organizations, including the UN, was noted. At the end of the meeting, the Ambassador expressed his gratitude for all-round support in carrying out his diplomatic mission in Turkmenistan.
