The Ambassador of Turkmenistan held a meeting with the President of a Korean university

On March 27, Ambassador of Turkmenistan to the Republic of Korea Begench Durdyev met with President of Hankuk University of Foreign Languages Jong Woon Park. This was reported by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Turkmenistan.

During the meeting, the sides discussed issues of cooperation in educational and scientific spheres, including within the framework of the Memorandum of Cooperation in scientific and educational sphere between the Turkmen National Institute of World Languages named after Dovletmamed Azadi and the Hankuk University of Foreign Languages.

The parties discussed the possibility of holding joint events between the Embassy and the university in 2024 under the slogan "Makhtumkuli Fraghi's Cluster of Mind" on the occasion of the 300th anniversary of the birth of the Turkmen poet. In addition, the possibility of opening a faculty for the study of Turkmen language in the Korean university was considered.
