Turkmenistan's Ambassador to Uzbekistan meets with the Chairman of the Senate

On November 21, Turkmenistan's Ambassador to Uzbekistan Sh. Meredov met with the Chairman of the Senate of the Oliy Majlis of the Republic of Uzbekistan Tanzila Narbaeva. This is reported by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Turkmenistan.

During the meeting, the sides noted the establishment of constructive Turkmen-Uzbek relations based on the principles of mutual trust. The sides discussed issues of cooperation in trade-economic, political-diplomatic, cultural-humanitarian spheres, as well as inter-parliamentary cooperation.

Special attention during the meeting was paid to cultural and humanitarian cooperation. In this regard, the details of joint events on the occasion of celebrating the 300th anniversary of the birth of Turkmen poet and philosopher Makhtumkuli Fraghi in 2024 were discussed.
