On May 10 this year, Turkmenistan's Ambassador to Armenia M. Ayazov and representative of the management of the Armenian Chamber of Commerce and Industry A. Aleksanyan met. This is reported on the official website of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Turkmenistan.
During the meeting, the Armenian representative expressed interest in using the transport and logistics potential of the Turkmen side for cargo transportation. Aleksanyan also asked the Turkmen diplomat to assist in finding cargo carriers to establish direct business ties.
In turn, M. Ayazov shared the results of the recently held forum and exhibition "International Transport and Transit Corridors: Interconnectivity and Development-2023", the main purpose of which was to expand interstate transport links.
At the end of the meeting the sides expressed confidence that the development of the transportation and logistics sphere will promote the establishment of economic cooperation between Armenia and Turkmenistan.
