Ashgabat is preparing to receive high-ranking foreign guests of the International Forum "Interconnection of times and civilizations - the basis of peace and development", which will be held on October 11, 2024. This is reported by the online edition "Westiabad."
Heads of state and government, international organizations and delegations of various levels will take part in the event timed to the 300th anniversary of the outstanding Turkmen poet and philosopher Makhtumkuli Fraghi.
Literary works of Makhtumkuli Fraghi have been translated into many foreign languages, they are studied by foreign scholars, known and loved by foreign readers. The key idea of Makhtumkuli Fraghi's creative heritage is humanity as the main human value. In his poems, the Turkmen poet and thinker raises important philosophical issues and uses various images to express ideas about the rule of law and civil society.
