A meeting with the Ambassador of Pakistan was held in Ashgabat

On June 12 of the current year the meeting of the Chairperson of the Mejlis of Turkmenistan D. Gulmanova with the Chairman of the Mejlis of Turkmenistan was held. Gulmanova met with
Pakistan's Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary to the country Askhan Wagan. This was reported by the Internet publication "Türkmenistan Habarlar Portaly".

During the meeting, the sides exchanged views on topical issues of the development of inter-parliamentary constructive dialog. The parties stressed the important role of organizing regular bilateral and regional meetings of profile committees and young parliamentarians. It was noted that such events allow creating a space for effective exchange of experience in the framework of legislative work.

The interlocutors also touched upon the organization and holding of events in honor of the 300th anniversary of the birth of the great thinker and poet Makhtumkuli Fraghi.
