Turkmenistan hosted a conversation with the Deputy Chairman of the Federation Council of the Russian Federation

Deputy Chairman of the Federation Council of the Federal Assembly of the Russian Federation K. Kosachev met with the Head of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Turkmenistan R. Meredov in Ashgabat. The meeting, which took place on June 13 this year in the building of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Turkmenistan, was devoted to the strategic partnership of the two countries. During the conversation the important role of inter-parliamentary dialog in strengthening effective bilateral cooperation was noted. In this context, the interlocutors paid attention to the topical issues of organizing the 2nd Interparliamentary Forum of the Central Asian states and Russia. They also discussed the development of partnership between Russia and Turkmenistan in the spheres of science, culture and education.
