A meeting of CASCA+ participants was held in Ashgabat

Heads of railway agencies of the countries participating in the international multimodal transport corridor "Asia-Pacific countries-China-Kyrgyzstan-Kyrgyzstan-Uzbekistan-Turkmenistan-Azerbaijan-Georgia-Turkey-Europe" took part in a meeting in Ashgabat on international cooperation in the transport and logistics sector. This is reported by the online edition of "Türkmenistan Habarlar Portaly".

In the course of the meeting the issues of activation of the CASCA+ route were discussed, including the application of special tariffs for the movement of empty containers, transportation of coal, fuel oil, fertilizers, sulphur, oil products, cake, raw sugar and meal. These measures will increase cargo traffic along the route covering the countries of Central Asia, the South Caucasus and the Republic of Turkey.
