International Conference on Macroeconomic Policy held in Ashgabat

The International Forum on Global Issues of Macroeconomic Policy, organized under the auspices of the Japan Fund JFPR and ADB, was held in Ashgabat, the capital of Turkmenistan, on Science Day, June 12, 2024. This was reported by the TurkmenPortal online edition.

The participants of the event were employees of various ministries and departments of the country, specialists of industrial energy, financial institutions, transportation and communication sphere. The forum included a speech by world expert N. Yoshino, who presented a report on topical issues on the macroeconomic agenda. Separate sections of his presentation were devoted to global climate change due to changes in industrial policy and the cost of commodities against the background of geopolitical tensions.

The expert's presentation was followed by an interactive Q&A session and discussions on other topics.
