EBRD to train Turkmen consultants to manage projects

The European Bank for Reconstruction and Development (EBRD) intends to train consultants from Turkmenistan to manage projects. For this purpose, it organizes a free online course "Project Management in the Consulting Business", which is financially supported by the European Union.

The training is organized within the framework of the EBRD Small Business Advisory Project. It is designed to help consultants in Turkmenistan to put consulting projects into practice.

The training will be useful mainly to those consultants who have experience in areas such as quality and sales management, strategic planning and research, organizational transformation, and implementation of digital systems.

The practical course will be completely interactive. Through it, counselors will learn how to:

  • properly use the tools for project planning;
  • make a competent assessment and planning of the schedule of works, their duration and financial costs;
  • form a team to implement the project and lead it;
  • monitor the progress of all project phases;
  • Use risk management techniques and policies.

The classes will be led by Vladimir Cherniavsky, head of the consulting firm Business Redesign Group, who is a member of the interstate consulting association PDP Institute for Organizational Development (Belgium).

Class times are from 2:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m. The first day is February 24, the last day is March 15, 2022. Meetings with course attendees will also take place on February 25 and 28, March 01, 10, 11, and 14.
