EU in Turkmenistan conducted a "Back to School" campaign

The European Union Delegation in Turkmenistan August 21 launched the annual "Back to school" campaign aimed at supporting children with disabilities. Arzuw.news reports citing a source.

As part of the event, 50 sets of school supplies were handed out. The event was held in partnership with the public organization "Keyik Okara" and the Center for Support of People with Disabilities of Turkmenistan.

EU Ambassador to Turkmenistan Beata Paksa personally participated in the ceremony of presenting backpacks and school supplies to children. In her speech, the diplomat emphasized the importance of education and called the school kits "tools for discovery, creativity and growth.

To create a festive atmosphere, the Rishat agency organized an entertainment program with animators. This is the fourth consecutive year when the EU Delegation in Turkmenistan organizes such an event.

The action demonstrates the European Union's commitment to inclusive education and the desire to ensure that every child has the opportunity to learn and develop.
