Hero Arkadag was awarded with a commemorative medal

The President of Turkmenistan signed a decree on awarding the National Leader of the Turkmen people, Chairman of the Khalk Maslakhaty of Turkmenistan Hero-Arkadag Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov with the jubilee medal of Turkmenistan "Magtymguly Pyragynyň 300 ýyllygyna", TDH reports.

According to the document, Hero-Arkadag was awarded this award for services in the implementation of program reforms in the country, bringing to a new level of cultural and humanitarian ties with the states of the world and international organizations, building bridges of peace, friendship and brotherhood between peoples, successful promotion of cultural diplomacy, integration of independent neutral Turkmenistan into a number of reputable countries of the world.

The medal is a tribute to the efforts of Gurbanguly Brdymukhamedov in scientific substantiation and revival of spiritual and material values created and accumulated by the Turkmen people over the centuries, its norms regulating social relations.

The Decree of the President of Turkmenistan also emphasizes the role of Hero-Arkadag in consolidating the efforts of domestic and foreign scientists, creative figures and the world community to study the significance of the poet-classic of Turkmen literature Makhtumkuli Fraghi's work and its wide popularization.
