Yildirim Binali became an Honorary Elder of Turkmenistan

The President of Turkmenistan signed a decree on awarding the title of Turkmenistan "Hormatly il ýaşulusy" to the Chairman of the Council of Elders of the Organization of Turkic States Yıldırım Binali, TDH reported.

According to the document, Yildirim Binali was awarded this title for his special merits in strengthening the bonds of friendship between Turkmenistan and the Republic of Turkey, development of national traditions and customs, maintaining the unity and cohesion of the two brotherly peoples, upbringing of the younger generation, as well as for his great personal contribution to the expansion of long-term cooperation between the two countries in the fields of politics, economy, science, education and culture.
