Turkmenistan's Foreign Minister to participate in the meeting of the Russian Federation and Central Asian countries

The sixth meeting of the foreign ministers of the Russian Federation, Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan, Tajikistan, Turkmenistan and Uzbekistan will be held in Samarkand on April 14. The TASS news agency reported about the upcoming meeting.

The agenda will include discussion of strategic cooperation between the Russian Federation and the five Central Asian countries in political and diplomatic, trade and economic, transport, energy, cultural and humanitarian spheres.

The sides plan to exchange views on topical issues of regional and international level. In addition, a meeting of the Council of Foreign Ministers of the Commonwealth of Independent States is scheduled for April 14 with the participation of representatives of Armenia, Azerbaijan, Uzbekistan, Belarus, Kazakhstan, the Kyrgyz Republic, Russia, Tajikistan, Turkmenistan and the CIS Executive Committee.
