Foreign Ministers of Turkmenistan and Iran discuss cooperation during telephone conversation

Head of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Turkmenistan Rashid Meredov held a telephone conversation with his counterpart from Iran Seyed Abbas Araghchi on November 6, 2024. This is reported on the website Foreign Ministry of Turkmenistan.

In the course of the bilateral conversation, the diplomats discussed topical issues related to the development of partnership relations between Turkmenistan and the Islamic Republic of Iran in political, economic, cultural and humanitarian spheres.

The sides emphasized the activities of the Turkmen-Iranian Inter-Parliamentary Commission on Economic Cooperation, the 18th session of which is scheduled before the end of the year. In the cultural sphere, the diplomats outlined the organization of joint events for November-December 2024, including master classes on jewelry art, Children's Friendship Week and Iran Agro Food exhibition.
