Chairman of Turkmenistan's upper house of parliament Gurbanguly Berdymukhamedov will visit Russia on October 10. This was announced today by Turkmen President Serdar Berdymukhamedov during talks with his Russian counterpart Vladimir Putin.
During his visit, Gurbanguly Berdymukhamedov will hold meetings with the speaker of the upper house of the Russian parliament Valentina Matvienko and the Chairman of the State Duma, Vyacheslav Volodin.
He is also scheduled to meet with Russian President Vladimir Putin.
"... I will gladly meet him in person, too. This meeting will definitely be organized," Putin promised, RIA Novosti reported.
Recall that on August 26, Russian President Vladimir Putin awarded Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov with the Order "For Services to the Fatherland" IV degree. This is the second most important Russian state award after the Order of St. Andrew the Apostle.
