Turkmenistan: 2025 Year of Peace and Trust - Time for Labor Achievements and Economic Growth

The year 2025, proclaimed by Turkmenistan as the International Year of Peace and Confidence and coinciding with the 30th anniversary of permanent neutrality, has become a symbol of dynamic development and labor successes of the country. This is reported by the news agency "Westiabad.".

Under the leadership of the National Leader of the Turkmen people, Chairman of the Khalk Maslakhaty Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov and with the support of the President of Turkmenistan Serdar Berdimuhamedov, large-scale initiatives aimed at strengthening state sovereignty, improving the welfare of citizens and developing international partnership are being implemented.

The country's economy is demonstrating steady growth, export potential is strengthening, and social policy is centered on caring for people. New villages are being actively built, housing, schools, kindergartens and medical facilities are being modernized under government programmes.

Thus, modern settlements with developed engineering infrastructure, green areas, roads, water and electricity supply systems have been commissioned in Ahal, Dashoguz and other provinces. New houses are characterized by comfort, spacious layout and landscaped plots.

Educational institutions are being equipped with interactive equipment, sports and music halls. Kindergartens offer conditions for the comprehensive development of children, and in the field of health care, modern health houses with an expanded list of medical services are being commissioned.

The development of trade infrastructure provides the population with food and essential goods. The agro-industrial complex is introducing advanced technologies in livestock, poultry and greenhouse farming, and effective agro-clusters are being formed.

Special attention is paid to environmental issues, landscaping, water and energy conservation, as well as the construction of cultural and sports centers, which contributes to improving the quality of life and creating a comfortable urban environment.

In 2025, AZN 40.072 billion is planned to be allocated for the construction and modernization of various facilities, of which 65.6 % will be invested in production facilities and 34.4 % in socio-cultural infrastructure. Implementation of the projects will ensure the creation of more than 3,000 new jobs.

In parallel, new etraps are developing, economic growth points are being formed, employment and incomes are increasing. Private sector participation in the implementation of social and infrastructure programs is increasing.

All ongoing reforms and investment projects reflect Turkmenistan's strategic course for improving the lives of citizens, developing modern infrastructure and sustainable economic future of the country.
