Turkmenistan considered realization of projects with Daewoo

President of Turkmenistan Serdar Berdimuhamedov met with the Chairman of the Board of the South Korean company Daewoo Engineering & Construction Co., Ltd." Jong Won-ju. This is reported by the news site Asmannews.

The businessman thanked the head of state for the opportunity to meet and participate in the ceremony of laying the foundation of a new complex for the production of mineral fertilizers at the Turkmenabat Chemical Plant.

Serdar Berdimuhamedov noted the high level of cooperation between Turkmenistan and the Republic of Korea, emphasizing that relations are developing on the basis of mutual respect and trust. Korean companies, including Daewoo, have been actively involved in the implementation of major projects in the oil and gas and chemical sectors of the country for many years.

Jong Won-ju expressed his gratitude for the trust and confirmed the company's readiness to fulfill its commitments.

The President emphasized that the chemical industry of Turkmenistan is one of the dynamically developing sectors focused on the production of export products from local raw materials. The head of state also noted the large-scale work on modernization and diversification of the economy.

At the end of the meeting, the President of Turkmenistan wished the company success in implementing the project on construction of a complex for production of mineral fertilizers.
