Chairman of the Khalk Maslakhaty Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov paid a visit to the Embassy of the Republic of Turkey in the country. On behalf of the President of Turkmenistan, he expressed words of support to the brotherly Turkish people in connection with the mass death of citizens during the devastating natural cataclysm. This is reported in the Internet publication "Turkmenistan: Golden Age".
During his visit to the Embassy, the National Leader of the Turkmen people met with the Ambassador of Turkey, Deputy Prime Minister, Minister of Foreign Affairs and Mufti of the Republic of Turkey. Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov emphasized that showing sympathy towards brotherly nations in difficult situations is a national character trait of the people of Turkmenistan.
He made an entry in the Book of Condolences, expressing his sincere sympathy to the relatives of the victims and wishing a speedy recovery to the injured. Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov also said that in the memorial complex "Halk hakydasy" will soon be given sadaqa in memory of the victims of the earthquake.
