The Office of the Ombudsman of Turkmenistan reviewed accreditation in GANPZU

On October 16, the Office of the Ombudsman of Turkmenistan held an online meeting with representatives of the accreditation subcommittee of the Global Alliance of National Human Rights Institutions on accreditation in GANPZU. This is reported by the online edition "Turkmenistan: The Golden Age."

Accreditation with GANPZU will contribute to raising the profile of the Office of the Ombudsman of Turkmenistan at the international level in the protection and promotion of human rights and freedoms.
Turkmenistan is actively cooperating with UNDP in the human rights sphere. As part of its cooperation with UNICEF, Turkmenistan submitted its first alternative report on the implementation of the United Nations Convention on the Rights of the Child and its Optional Protocols to the Committee on the Rights of the Child.

In order to further develop the Ombudsman's Office, the Ombudsman's Office Strategic Plan 2024-2028 was approved this year.
