The first meeting of the Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov Charitable Foundation for Children in Need of Care was held in the city of Arkadag, marking an important step towards strengthening support for vulnerable children. This was reported in Saturday's edition of the Vatan news program.
The meeting was attended by members of the Foundation's directorate, the director of the recently opened Arkadag Health and Rehabilitation Center for Children and the hakim of Arkadag.
The main attention at the council meeting was paid to the activities of the recently opened Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov Center for Health and Rehabilitation of Children, which started its work in June this year in Arkadag. Various issues related to its functioning were comprehensively discussed during the meeting.
During the meeting, Bazarov, Vice President of the Foundation, gave a speech outlining the achievements and efforts of the organization. Bazarov proudly reported that to date, the Foundation has successfully performed 140 surgical operations for children in need of specialized care. In addition, he emphasized the significant effect of the Foundation's support through the purchase of ambulances and other necessary medical equipment for children's wards of hospitals in the country's velayats.
