A meeting on preventing the spread of drugs was held in Ashgabat

A meeting of the Steering Committee of the seventh phase of the Program for the Prevention of Drug Proliferation in Central Asia was held in Ashgabat on July 5. This is reported by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Turkmenistan.

The meeting was attended by representatives of CA countries, EU delegation in CA, representatives of European institutions and EU programs. The participants of the event discussed activities related to drug prevention, reviewing achievements and successes in this direction.

On July 6, an additional session "Turkmenistan's Experience in Combating Smoking and Alcohol Use" was held, dedicated to the protection and improvement of citizens' lives, measures taken and programs implemented in this area, popularization (primarily among young people) of the principles of a healthy lifestyle.
