A new showcase dedicated to hat mushrooms of Turkmenistan has appeared in the exposition of the Nature and Local History Department of the State Museum of the State Cultural Center of the country. This is reported by the Internet publication "Turkmenistan: The Golden Age."
Visitors to the museum will be able to see life-size hat mushrooms growing in the country. The mushroom models are made of plaster and foam plastic materials in the Museum's Art Restoration Department.
The new showcase of the exposition of the Department of Nature and Local History contains naturalistic moulages of champignons, steppe white mushrooms, common oyster mushrooms, and mushrooms of the rainforest group. Noteworthy is the soil brown truffle belonging to the group of marsupials, which was previously included in the Red Book of Turkmenistan, but was removed from it in the 2024 edition due to the improved situation with the distribution.
