Foreign Ministers of Turkmenistan and China meet in Beijing

Foreign Ministers of Turkmenistan Rashid Meredov and China's Foreign Minister Wang Yi held talks on strategic partnership in Beijing today. This is reported in the Telegram channel of the online publication "Türkmenistan Habarlar Portaly".

During the meeting, the parties expressed readiness to deepen multifaceted cooperation, in particular, on the joint construction of the "Belt and Road". It was noted that Turkmenistan's participation in the 3rd High-Level Forum on International Cooperation within the framework of the Belt and Road Initiative will contribute to the realization of key joint projects.

The Turkmen side expressed readiness to identify potential in other areas of comprehensive strategic cooperation. Rashid Meredov expressed hope for the conjugation of the "Revival of the Great Silk Road" and "Belt and Road" strategies.
