ASHKHABAD, September 1, 2023 - The President of Turkmenistan has signed a decree approving the construction of a new residential complex in Guvlymayak settlement located in Turkmenbashi etrap of Balkan velayat. This is reported in the Neutral Turkmenistan daily newspaper.
The complex will consist of several apartment buildings, a school, a kindergarten, a shopping center and recreation areas for residents. Its goal is to improve the living and leisure conditions of the local population.
State concern Türkmenhimiýa will conclude a contract with private company Dürliýaz for the design and construction of a residential complex. The construction is scheduled to start in November this year and to be completed in November 2026.
According to the decree, all necessary engineering communications will be brought to the networks of the housing estate to serve the new complex: electricity, gas, water supply and sewerage.
The goal of the project is to build a modern and comfortable residential neighborhood as part of the country's national development. The complex will provide housing, education, trade and recreation for families living in the village of Guvlimayak.
The Government of Turkmenistan is investing heavily in large-scale construction projects aimed at improving infrastructure and raising the living standards of the country's population. The new residential area is in line with the strategy of developing modern amenities for citizens.
