Banquet dedicated to Azerbaijan's Independence Day held in Turkmenistan

The Embassy of the Republic of Azerbaijan organized a solemn reception on the occasion of the national holiday in Ashgabat on May 28 - the Independence Day of the Republic of Azerbaijan. This is reported on the pages of the TurkmenPortal online publication. 

Azerbaijani Ambassador to Turkmenistan Hismet Gezalov made a speech during the official reception. He emphasized the important role of the Republic of Azerbaijan in the implementation of major international projects, including the North-South and East-West transport routes. 

The diplomat noted the country's active contacts at the highest level, talked about the announcement of 2024 in the state "Year of Solidarity for a Green World". The Azerbaijani Ambassador also noted the increase in trade turnover for the past year by 75%. 

The participants of the banquet had an opportunity to taste the national cuisine of Azerbaijan and hear the national music of this country.
