Interview with the UN OHCHR Regional Representative for Central Asia in Ashgabat

Deputy Foreign Minister of Turkmenistan Myahri Byashimova had a conversation with the Regional Representative of the Office of the UN High Commissioner for Human Rights in Central Asia Matilda Bogner in the building of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Turkmenistan on May 28, 2024. During the meeting, the interlocutors touched upon topical issues of expanding cooperation between Turkmenistan and OHCHR. The parties noted the multifaceted nature of the interaction with international organizations, which Turkmenistan is carrying out to meet the country's human rights obligations. 

As one of the main vectors of partnership, the sides highlighted the work on the implementation of the agreements reached during the negotiations with the UN.
