A seminar on women's reproductive rights was held in Turkmenistan

The UN Population Fund office in Turkmenistan organized a three-day seminar on women's reproductive rights. This was reported by the Internet publication "Turkmenistan: Golden Age".

The seminar brought together representatives of the Social Policy Committee of the Mejlis of Turkmenistan, the Ministry of Health and Medical Industry, public organizations and the Ombudsman's Office.
The workshop aims to build capacity and awareness on women's reproductive rights.

UNFPA International Consultant Yanina Arsenieva spoke about the specifics of providing reproductive health services to people with disabilities, as well as about compliance with international law by organizations and institutions when providing reproductive health services.
