World Hindi Day was celebrated in Turkmenistan

A festive event dedicated to the World Hindi Day was held at the D. Azadi Turkmen National Institute of World Languages. This is reported by the online publication "Türkmenistan Habarlar Portaly".

The guests of the cultural event were students and teachers of the university, as well as the guest of honor - the Ambassador of India to Turkmenistan. The students studying Hindi performed musical compositions in this language, danced Indian dances and recited poems by the great Turkmen poet Makhtumkuli Fraghi translated into Indian and other languages.

The students who participated in the festive concert received memorable gifts from the representatives of the Embassy of India in Turkmenistan. The concert was a vivid testimony and confirmation of the strengthening of international cultural ties between the countries.
