On the eve of the holidays - Constitution Day and State Flag Day of Turkmenistan - on May 17, the Center for Public Organizations in Ashgabat hosted a scientific and practical event entitled "A new era of a powerful state and development: an exemplary way of statehood, democracy, respect for universal values", as reported by the Internet publication "Turkmenistan: Golden Age".
An exhibition of arts and crafts, museum treasures and books was organized as part of the conference. A song and dance program was an effective accompaniment to the event.
The educational part of the conference included reports on the history of statehood, the State Flag, the norms enshrined in the Basic Law of the Turkmen State, and the principles of democracy. The forum was held in three different thematic sections, which were united by a single slogan: "The State for Man".
