Russian Ambassador to Turkmenistan Ivan Volynkin gave an interview in which he spoke about the dynamic development of Turkmenistan in various spheres and prospects for international cooperation. This is reported by the Internet edition "TurkmenPortal.

The Ambassador emphasized the abundance of cultural, sports and other events in the country, to which the diplomatic corps is invited, highlighting the annual bicycle race. Ivan Volynkin praised the security and living standards in Turkmenistan. Speaking about the country's foreign policy, he emphasized that due to the status of permanent neutrality, Turkmenistan is open for international and regional strategic partnership.

The diplomat emphasized that an important component of Turkmenistan's character is its multinationality. The Russian, Armenian and Azerbaijani diasporas live in peace and harmony here, and Russian is the interethnic language.
