Israeli Foreign Minister arrives in Turkmenistan

Israeli Foreign Minister Eli Cohen will become the first member of the Israeli government in 30 years to visit Turkmenistan. This is reported by The Times of Israel at timesofisrael.com

Eli Cohen arrives from Azerbaijan in Ashgabat on the evening of April 19 for talks with Turkmen President Serdar Berdimuhamedov, Turkmen Foreign Minister Rashid Meredov and Minister of Agriculture and Environment Allanur Altiyev.

After talks with representatives of the Turkmen government, Israeli Foreign Minister Eli Cohen will participate in the opening ceremony of the new office of the Israeli Embassy in Ashgabat and meet with representatives of the Jewish community in Turkmenistan.
