Japanese students will learn the Turkmen language

The Japanese University of Tsukuba will start Turkmen language courses at the Japanese University of Tsukuba in September 2023 as part of cooperation with Turkmen universities. This is reported by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Turkmenistan.

Masahiro Oku, a researcher of Tsukuba University, will conduct classes for those wishing to study Turkmen language, literature and culture. In July of this year, Masahiro Oku together with Jennet Rozykulyeva, a graduate of the Japanese Language Department of the D. Azadi Turkmen National Institute of World Languages, prepared a textbook "Turkmen Phrasebook in Japanese" to teach the Turkmen language.

Earlier on May 26 and June 27, professor of the Japanese University of Tsukuba Toshinobu Usuyama and researcher of this university Masahiro Oku held lectures for students of the Japanese language faculty of TNIMYA named after D. Azadi. Earlier, on May 26 and June 27, Professor Toshinobu Usuyama of Japan's Tsukuba University and researcher of this university Masahiro Oku gave lectures on the comparison of the Turkmen and Japanese languages.
