Conference in honor of Turkmen poet Makhtumkuli Fraghi held in Almaty

An international conference dedicated to the works of the great Turkmen poet and thinker Makhtumkuli Fraghi was held on May 17, 2024 in the library of the Al-Farabi Kazakh National University. The event dedicated to the 300th anniversary of the birth of the outstanding personality was organized by the Embassy of Turkmenistan in Kazakhstan together with the National Academy of Sciences under the President of Kazakhstan. In the conference, which was called "Makhtumkuli Fraghi - genius of word of oriental literature", the heads of the National Academy of Sciences, employees of diplomatic missions accredited in the Republic of Kazakhstan, representatives of scientific circles, writers took part.

The event included an exhibition displaying artistic photographs, arts and crafts, paintings and graphics.
