President of Turkmenistan Serdar Berdymukhamedov signed a decree on awarding state awards to farmers for their significant contribution to the development of the industry and high production performance during this year's field campaigns. The awards are timed to November 13, when the country traditionally celebrates the Harvest Festival.
The document signed by the president states that 15 leaders of the agricultural sector, three from each region of Turkmenistan, have been nominated for the award. They include mechanics, mechanics, agronomists and farm owners.
Awards ceremony and honoring of specialists of agrarian sector of the country will take place on Saturday, November 12.
