Two foreign air carriers, S7 Airlines (Russia) and Belavia (Belarus), have cancelled the mandatory provision of PCR test results for Turkmen citizens on flights from Moscow and Minsk to Turkmenbashi. This was reported by Orient news with links to the official websites of Belavia and S7 Airlines.
To check in for these flights, all passengers, except citizens of Turkmenistan, must present a negative PCR test or antibody test that was done no later than 48 hours before departure.
However, on arrival in Turkmenbashi all passengers, including citizens of Turkmenistan, should undergo an additional express examination for the presence of COVID-19 coronavirus infection.
From December 13 this year the number of flights Minsk-Turkmenbashy will increase - the planes will fly on this route on Tuesdays. S7 Airlines has been flying from Moscow to Turkmenbashi twice a week since December - on Mondays and Thursdays.
