A two-volume collection of poems by Makhtumkuli Fraghi was presented to the National Leader of the Turkmen people Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov by the Spiritual Leader of the Islamic Republic of Iran Ayatollah Ali Khamenei. This is reported by the Internet publication "Turkmenistan: Golden Age".
The ceremony was held in the building of the Makhtumkuli Institute of Language, Literature and National Manuscripts of the Academy of Sciences of Turkmenistan. The event was attended by the heads and scientists of the Institute and representatives of the Iranian Embassy in Turkmenistan.
During the meeting, special attention was paid to the development of cultural and humanitarian interaction between Iran and Turkmenistan, especially the dynamic international cooperation in the study of cultural heritage and national values.
