The National Leader of the Turkmen people held a telephone conversation with the Head of Uzbekistan

National Leader of the Turkmen people Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov had a telephone conversation with President of the Republic of Uzbekistan Shavkat Mirziyoyev on October 14. It is reported Foreign Ministry of Turkmenistan.

At the beginning of the conversation, the sides noted the high level of cultural and humanitarian ties.
The President of Uzbekistan expressed gratitude for the invitation to take part in the International Forum in honor of the 300th anniversary of the birth of Makhtumkuli Fraghi and for awarding Turkmenistan's honorary medal "Magtymguly Pyragynyň 300 ýyllygyna".

The sides reviewed the current situation and opportunities for partnership development in trade and economic, fuel and energy, transportation and communication and agricultural spheres. The sides discussed the progress in the implementation of previously reached agreements on the realization of joint projects.
