On November 13, Monday, President of Turkmenistan Serdar Berdimuhamedov presented credentials to Hiroshi Sasaki, Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of Japan to Turkmenistan. This is reported in the broadcast of the news program Watan.
The new Japanese Ambassador to Turkmenistan conveyed cordial greetings from Emperor Naruhito of Japan and Prime Minister Fumio Kishida. Hiroshi Sasaki noted Japan's interest in further development of fruitful and mutually beneficial diplomatic relations with Turkmenistan.
In his response, the President of Turkmenistan congratulated the Ambassador on his appointment to the responsible post and wished him success in carrying out his diplomatic mission. Serdar Berdimuhamedov noted that relations with Japan, based on mutual respect and support, are of strategic nature.
