Public activists from Turkmenistan participated in a BOMCA project management training course on strengthening cross-border cooperation in the Central Asian region.
In the process of acquiring new knowledge, course participants learned about a number of important features of creating and implementing projects. These include planning techniques, target group recognition, and accounting and control techniques.
It is planned that course participants will improve their management skills at all stages of project creation and implementation.
Today, the planning and implementation of projects has become a methodology, and successful in this case, he who has mastered all modern techniques and methods of project management.
The Border Management Programme for the Central Asian Region (BOMCA) is one of the most ambitious regional programmes organized jointly by UNDP and the EU. The key objectives of the project are to provide the required technology and strengthen infrastructure at the posts located in the border areas. In addition, it is recognized as an incentive for the states of the region to organize joint border management.
BOMCA activities in the Central Asian region first took place in 2003.
