Ambassador of Turkmenistan to the State of Qatar M. Seyitmammadov met with Rector of Qatar University of Science and Technology Salem Al Nuaimi on March 17. This was reported by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Turkmenistan.
During the meeting the issues of expansion of bilateral cooperation in the field of science were discussed. In this regard, the results of the visit of representatives of the Ministry of Education of Turkmenistan to the State of Qatar were discussed.
In addition, joint participation in international scientific conferences and Olympiads to be held in Turkmenistan and Qatar this year was the subject of the conversation. The parties paid attention to the organization of cultural events between the Qatar University of Science and Technology and the Embassy of Turkmenistan on the occasion of the 300th anniversary of the birth of Turkmen poet and philosopher Makhtumkuli Fraghi.
