Turkmenistan's Permanent Representative to the UN participated in talks with the head of the HRW office

The current agenda of bilateral partnership in the field of human rights was discussed during the meeting between Turkmenistan's Permanent Representative to the UN Office in Geneva Vepa Hajiyev and the head of the Geneva office of the non-governmental organization Human Rights Watch (HRW) Hilary Power. The main objective of the meeting was to establish links for fruitful cooperation in the field of human rights. The Permanent Representative and the Head of the HRW Office discussed topics of interest to each of the parties and related to international humanitarian law. Attention was paid to ways and forms of further partnership in this area. As a result of the talks, an agreement was reached to continue regular contacts in the Geneva format.
