Turkmenistan's Permanent Representative to the UN meets with the head of the RCC

Turkmenistan's Permanent Representative to the UN Office in Geneva Vepa Khadzhiev held a meeting with Director General of the Regional Commonwealth in the field of Communications (RCC) Alexei Borodin on April 9. This is reported by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Turkmenistan.

During the meeting the issues of cooperation in the field of communication and informatization were discussed. In this regard, the possibility of holding major international events in the field of information and communication technologies in Turkmenistan was discussed.

They also touched upon the current steps in the field of communication - the parties noted the possibility of holding joint events with the RCC on the Geneva platform. The issues of expanding the size of the Regional Commonwealth in the field of communications and cooperation in the field of info-communications with specialized organizations were considered.
