WHO ERB representatives paid a technical advisory visit to Turkmenistan

Specialists from the World Health Organization's Regional Office for Europe visited Turkmenistan to improve the country's capacity for laboratory surveillance of antimicrobial resistance. This is reported by the Internet publication "Türkmenistan habarlar portaly".

Within the framework of the program of stay in Turkmenistan, representatives of the World Health Organization visited laboratories for the supervision of BDS, held meetings and seminars with representatives of relevant agencies of Turkmenistan.

Marina Sukhorukova, WHO ERB specialist, developed recommendations for Turkmen specialists within the framework of preparation of the National Guidelines for Laboratory Surveillance of SCP. The WHO mission was organized by the WHO Country Office and the WHO Regional Office for Europe.
