President of Turkmenistan Serdar Berdymukhamedov congratulated compatriotowls with the holy Eid al-Adha of the Muslim world, TDH reports.
In the congratulatory message of the head of the state it is noted that in the year of "Makhtumkuli Fraghi's Clue of Mind" the celebration of Kurban Bayram is held at the state level for three days, bright music and song festivities, social and cultural events are organized at various sites, in cultural and entertainment centers of Ashgabat and Arkadag cities, in all settlements. In every family, sachaks are widely spread, abundant with cooked festive dishes, sadaqa-kurbanlyk is given and prayers are offered for the further prosperity of the independent Fatherland, happy and prosperous life of the people.

In the year of wide international celebration of the 300th anniversary of the birth of the great thinker-poet Makhtumkuli Fraghi, on the occasion of Eid al-Adha, a large group of our compatriots make pilgrimage to participate in Hajj.
