President of Turkmenistan meets with Hakan Fidan

President of Turkmenistan Serdar Berdimuhamedov and Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Turkey Hakan Fidan, who is in the Turkmen capital on an official visit, met on Wednesday, October 11, 2023. This is reported in the air of the news program Watan.

During the meeting, the sides discussed issues of strengthening cooperation between Turkmenistan and Turkey in the trade and economic sphere. It was emphasized that the Republic of Turkey currently occupies one of the leading positions in terms of foreign trade turnover of Turkmenistan. Serdar Berdimuhamedov noted the prospects for the development of partnership cooperation in the spheres of transportation, communications and fuel and energy sector.

The sides emphasized the importance of mutual visits of government delegations and regular inter-ministerial consultations between the countries.
