Р. Meredov: Turkmen neutrality promotes peace and security

Turkmen Foreign Minister, Deputy Chairman of the Cabinet of Ministers Rashid Meredov spoke at the forum of ministers of the Central Asia-Italy dialog, which was held in Rome on May 29. This is reported on the website of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Turkmenistan.

The round table brought together the foreign ministers of the Central Asian states and Italy, as well as representatives of the EU. The head of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Turkmenistan emphasized that the country's neutrality contributes to maintaining peace and stability. Rashid Meredov noted such areas of multilateral cooperation as regional stability, environmental sphere, transportation, rational use of water, energy and culture.

The conference was divided into three sessions - "Energy Transition and Global Challenges", "Connectivity" and "Higher Education and Knowledge Networks". It was agreed to develop a medium-term action plan for the CA-Italy Dialogue.
